ADDITIONAL PRESCIENT DANGER WARNING

It was reported over this weekend that POTUS was given Presidential Daily Briefings no less than 12 times in January and February.  He had both oral and written warnings.  During this timeframe, Mr. Azar of the CDC wrote a memo giving dire warnings of potentially 500,000 deaths.  The historical revisionist Mr. Ed keeps touting his response, even when he was warned of the nature and the devastation this pandemic would create.  He was warned multiple times by multiple entities. Joe Biden had a dire warning he posted in an op-ed piece in USA today, in late January.  The middle of January Trump made a hap-hazard approach to banning air travel.   Mr. Ed allowed 40,000 people to come into the U.S. from China, after the ban.  Most of these were U.S. citizens just like the citizens from the cruise ships. He denied cruise ships access to U.S. ports due to the virus.  What was the difference?  He claims to be the first but he actually was 14^th in banning air travel from China.  Deny, deflect and assign blame on others is the POTUS way.

He gets the daily briefings and interrupts the briefers, stating he does not believe the security reports, he says he has talked to others (never specifying who- could this be someone with their own economic motivation) and the professionals.

POTUS also claimed to be first to ban European travel when he was actually one of the last developed country.  The 400,000 people coming from Europe carrying the virus spread it through the United States.  If there were a total travel ban, the prospects of community outbreaks would have been greatly decreased.  Trump claims the WHO responsibility, yet we had 12 CDC workers imbedded and reported back to the administration and almost all prevalent agencies also made warnings. 

Mike Pence, another horse whisper has been made the scape goat for testing. This was a result of the initial debacle CDC had with its initial 90 test kits, showing both false positives and false negatives.  The FDA stated that if the CDC were a private lab they would be closed down.   Today Pence stated the media misunderstood the words about tests being available.  He said he did not mean there were 5 million tests as was understood by the media and anyone that had listened at all to the daily briefings. Today the Administration issued a statement on testing responsibilities, of what both the Administration and the states would be responsible for.   It was stated, in what appeared to be a back track, that testing availability does not make the tests.  Both the re-agents and swabs became states responsibility, and the administration stated they were only responsible for the platform that tests and would be a supplier of last resort for the states.

The requirements for re-agents and swab procurement, was forced onto the states.  This is tantamount to providing a printer and no ink and not warning you were responsible until today.  Medical experts all agree it needs to have rapid result and 5 million tests a day to safely open the country.  Initially the medical professionals said 2% of the population or 64 million people could be tested. That number has been revised downward to 27 million.  Today it was reveled that the number was 5 million tests a day by June to open, and still have masks and social distancing.  Dr. Fauci stated today, he was assured by the individuals in charge of testing, that the manufacturers would be capable of testing those that individuals that require testing, by the end of May or first of June.  Note: Not, “if anyone that wanted a test you can get a test” like Mr. ED stated 7 weeks ago.

There are daily lies included in the POTUS daily covid virus briefing that are repeated over and over to lull everyone into a stupor.  Today he read a statement from the podium, obviously it was written by someone else, which was meant to provide empathy and he, of course (Mr. empathy) read it as if it was a ransom note.

Trump and Obama have had their o-shit moments everyone has heard.  Take Obama infamously saying “if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor”. Trump stated in late January “anyone that wants a test can get a test”. Not true then and not true now, in April.  Most health care workers, even now, must show signs to get a test in some places.

Obama was excoriated when he had suggested his administration should get credit for the economic recovery.  The Republicans had their hair on fire.  The outrage was such they would get red faced and look like they would explode. They were aghast that someone would even attempt to take credit for the recovery, in lieu of giving the all the credit to the legislation and the people.  That was then, and of course now what is the response?  Trump repeatedly says “I” (note the pronoun) “ I have built the greatest economy in the world ever”.  This betrays the facts and you compare GDP by President.  Trump, by this measure is 5^th.  His unemployment measures are impressive, however when you compare reductions in unemployment, he is only marginally better than Obama for the first 36 months.  What have you done for us lately?  Where is the outrage by the republicans?  Was the ire only rhetoric?  They’re all hypocritical and cannot see their hypocrisy?  This is Trumpism –Truth can be what you say it is and, you stay in your own reality.

Re-opening the economy prematurely has the medical professional up the virus death toll prediction from 90,000 one month ago, until social distancing and stay at orders were in place. It then revised their estimate to 60 thousand. Today predictive models revised the estimate to 77 thousand by the end of August.  This revision was due to the states opening, without meeting the criteria and guidelines for re-opening. The estimated increase was attributed to prematurely opening in various states.  No state has met all 5 of the criteria to open and most have only met 3 of the 5 criteria and thus 17,000 additional people are estimated to be killed, with the state’s premature decisions to re-open. Yesterday, I estimated  the death toll at 100-120 thousand, to going to be the outcome.  My estimate is amplified by the fact that we are at a plateau in daily deaths and have not yet going to the downside.  In other news, the U.S. Chamber of commerce issued a letter to POTUS imploring his administration to demand universal approach to the virus by the states.  Mr. Ed’s projection of 0 cases and saying on February 26^th it would magically disappear, was preposterous.  By April, POTUS was off by only 1,000,000 cases.  Mr. Ed has a distrust factor of 2:1. That is over ½ the population dis-trusts this man.

This virus is obviously a tragedy, however there are some hope for an antidote and a potential cure.  What if POTUS is faced with a natural disaster, which affects all of the U.S.?  Denial will not help this type crisis go away and there is no antidote.  How will POUS respond? He can’t blame everyone. It would be hard for him to deny obvious facts and deny credible professionals, civil servants, medical professionals and scientists.  However, he is currently doing just that. He knows better and relies on input of friends, besides he is a stable genius and has a large brain.

Another day, another set of prescient data ignored!  Will his incompetence catch up with his base, or does gaslighting really work?  He has taken the bully pulpit thing to heart and has continues to politicized a national pandemic.  He has continued using childlike methods to spite enemies during a pandemic where unity should be the daily mantra.
