Trump, by opening meat plants where the plants have known outbreaks, is helping to spread the Coronavirus all over the heartland, as plant workers travel back and forth to work and to kids and spouses.  Also, those who visit the nursing home are creating secondary outbreaks, where meat packers abound.  In the Mid-West, it is normal not to report deaths and numbers of cases regularly, in both meat packing plants and nursing homes. These numbers are known to be repressed.  He invokes the Defense Production Act to open meat packing plants, but would not use it for PPE production? Did an epiphany overcome him or is it strictly political?

We are all locked in a closet with the virus, with Trump and he desperately wants to blame someone for his own failures.  His pursuit of unfounded rumors, conspiracy theories and his laser concentration to re-write the history of this response, consumes his day and night.  Look at the numbers of deaths world-wide vs. the United States.  China, Chinese Labs, governors, and any other laser pointer enemy he can use as an excuse. Trump has shifted from darkly devious to totally terrifying responses to the pandemic.

It finally dawned on him last week, when his advisors finally got into his bubble, dragged his head out of the sand and finally got him off the dais.  It dawned on him after seeing polls that showed he was actually helping Biden. Mr. Ed saw the coverage of and decided to change his performance from crisis management to not actually doing anything constructive.

There are 500,000 test kits on the tarmac in Maryland, however there are no swabs or re-agents to be capable of testing.  These kits are still loaded on the Korean Air Jet and are being guarded by the National Guard to insure they were not confiscated by FEMA.  FEMA has been known to redirect shipments of PPE governors have purchased for their own people, as a result of the offload of the federal responsibility.  FEMA has also raided the VA and has caused critical PPE shortages in some VA hospitals.

Trumps cruelest month was April the month had 800,000 added cases. At the beginning of May there were 4,735 coronavirus deaths, now there are 62,836 deaths officially and potentially more as a result of underreporting cause of death.  The death toll for April 2020 is greater than any other single month in U.S. History. Trump always seeks to be number 1.

No holding the hands of family and friends on their deathbed, no visits, no hugs or other forms of grief, they are no longer available.  All these emotional constraints have a toll on anyone that cannot grieve.

I am curious about the health of our navy.  All ships share bunks on a shift basis, our sailors work and sleep in cramped quarters, without any chance of social distancing.  It’s fortunate the Naval academy already graduated.  The United States military academy West Point graduates are being recalled to have a vanity project for the commander in chief, which will become a method of taking the pandemic on a global tour.  We can call it “Trump’s contribution to all humanity” tour. The cadets were dismissed from the academy early due to an outbreak of the virus.  It was estimated that many of the cadets could still have the virus.  So much for halting community spread of the virus. Trump wants the graduates to be lumped together, not even like the Pence USAF academy commencement that were 6’ apart in all directions.

A POINT OF CLARIFICATION

I am in disagreement with noted economist Paul Krugman, when I predicted hyper-inflation as a result of the current round of economic stimulus (Bailouts).  I predicted that inflation would be as a result of supply chain interruptions, depletions of existing inventories (like with PPE sanitizers, disinfectants) the introduction of tariffs, which I have already shown to be inflationary.  I’m not certain tariffs are in his model considering the inflationary impact.  This administration has already floated the possibility of bringing back production of PPE, which is labor intensive and in no way can compete with sweat shop conditions and wages. 

Unlike Paul Krugman, who thinks that there would not be this inflationary push (he is totally fine with the debt spiral at a 0% interest rate and the ability to borrow from yourself), I however, feel that by borrowing from yourself, in massive trillion dollar increments is tantamount to printing money.  By hyper-money printing and slow recovery in the manufacturing sector, will production keep up with demand?  It would be a great temptation for someone to borrow from themselves and then do one of two things 1.) Borrow the money and put it into the economy and not charge it to the debt (Print without recording as debt) or 2) have the Fed forgive its own debt, which it borrowed from itself.  What could go wrong? The above was similar to that taken by Germany between the Wars, which created massive hyper-inflation.

I could be wrong; however I think I covered my ass well.

ONE MORE DIVORCE FOR DONALD

The deflector in chief, divorced from the facts, has ordered his intelligence spies to produce evidence that a lab in Wuhan, China created Covid19.  The Directorate of National Intelligence DNI put out a memo, which stated there was no scientific evidence of a man made virus from China.  When Trump was asked about it he said, “I should know that” and “ who said that who was that?”  He then went on with a public rebuke of the intelligence and being totally divorced from the facts stated that “he had evidence it was (China) originated from Wuhan”.  When asked about evidence, he said he was ”NOT ALLOWED” to tell you that.  My guess is he is looking for the goat.  It was also revealed that when the virus struck, Mr. Ed had all the Chinese journalists removed from the U.S.  President Xi as a result, had all the U.S. journalists from China removed.  This resulted in a grave information vacuum.  What could go wrong?

WHAT INTELLIGENCE?

My guess is Donald has an avid fear of anyone with intelligence.  He has consistently denigrated, ridiculed, and slammed the community of intelligence public servants.  His problem is, they serve the public and not him.  All the public service community needs to do is conform to his use of having all the public servants help in his re-election.  This brings me to the Michel Flynn case.  In January 2017, Michael Flynn not only lied to the FBI in an investigation twice, but also to Mike Pence, the Vice President.  Donald Trump eventually fired him after some time and wrote in a text message, how he was fired for lying to the FBI and to Mike Pence.  He was a foreign agent for Turkey. He was paid for his efforts and lied.  He was in a scheme to kidnap an individual.  There was new evidence in the Flynn case, which only shows the FBI wanted to be cautious about the interrogation where he lied, since they already had evidence he was an agent.  When the President was recently asked about Flynn, being the President he is, said he was a good guy and should have never been convicted.  He also said he may put him back in his administration. Sure he is going to re-hire a lying convicted felon that Obama had removed from his position?  Look over here at the laser light.
