MR.ED POTUS EXTRAORDINAIRE

Trump is the current president of the G7.  Normally the G7 would coordinate a responses and potential solutions.  He asked member countries to stand behind him calling the crisis “Wuhan virus” and then he threatened he would de-fund the WHO if they declined.  During this international crisis, Mr. Ed is putting his head in the sand and is nowhere to be found.  The international leadership vacuum is being filled by the European consortium of leaders.  These leaders see both China and the United States as extreme, in that they see American capitalism looking no better than Chinese authoritarianism.

The lesson Trump has yet to learn is, the historical equivalency of the aftermath of this pandemic.  In 1918, after WW1 ended the pandemic occurred.  No international joint recovery was launched. Nations went their own way and countries embraced nationalism, and protectionist policies. The lack of cooperation and isolationism led to total world disorder. The populism and isolationism and xenophobia devolved into fascism.

Every action by Mr.Ed can be seen as his two-step abilities to see everything in terms of either self-interest or having a political motive.  He has stated out loud, any civil servant that that does not have personal or monetary motivation, is foolish.  Is this projection in spades?

It should not be this hard to protect this country and not be so self-centered at the same time?  What has become of “eyes wide open” patriotism?  What we have now, is in-the-bubble blind sycophancy.  Thank Mr. Ed for a more dangerous world-Duh!

THE ICE MAN COMMITH

It was made known on the Sunday the 26^th Mr.Ed  had broken a promise he made, when he asked the dreamers to register where they lived. The dreamers initially were reticent to register.  Then came the promise which was his administration would only hold it and never turn the information over to ICE.  So he re-niggled on that promise on a Sunday afternoon, out of the news cycle. 

I’m not sure what this has to do with the virus so why do it?  Is he in a cynical process of deporting them?  If so, is this another example of his hell bent on a race to the bottom.  These dreamers’ and green card holders’ employment run gamut from menial service work such as housekeeping, maids, hairdressers to educators, emergency workers, scientists and medical doctors. 

I am wondering who will fill the menial jobs, and how do you immediately backfill those with a higher education?  Will all 11 million estimated undocumented immigrants that are employed both legally and illegally, be filled by those newly unemployed citizens as a result of the virus? Is deportation and denial of entry Mr.Ed’s and the administrations (Steve Miller’s) motivation?  Or is it more cynical political red meat for his base?  Look over here follow the laser pointer.  Distraction and red meat are just more political campaign actions straight from the populist playbook-divide, distract, and piss off. Hey look a three-fer.  I’m waiting for a home run (a four bagger).

POLITICS AND A PANDEMIC

Playing politics with a pandemic is irrational and short sighted.  Take for example McConnell holding off on bailouts for the states and saying they should go bankrupt.  He also said it would amount to a blue state bailout.  This attitude flies in the face of both red and blue states have mixes of both parties.  Having NY and LA and SF be a majority blue is perhaps punishment or another laser pointer for distraction.

The distraction is to have nobody to look at his response to the outbreak of the virus, or the lack of testing vs Germany.  We got the same machines as Germany at the same time, however we weren’t allowed to use the machines for a month after Germany started.  South Korea had its initial first confirmed case on the same day.  South Korea is moving out of quarantine and had a significantly lower mortality rate with a small infection peak.  

It is surprising Viet Nam has had no confirmed cases or deaths thus far.  I have a theory.  Looking at mortality rates by country, it shows a disparity the certain Asian countries.  These areas (Southern China and North Viet Nam) coincide with where it is known previous corona viruses originated. I question if perhaps the population of these area have some kind of antibodies or immunities?

 This observation comes from a graduate with advanced degrees in immunology, and homeopathic medicine using the 3 month graduation program with classes entirely from the correspondence wing of the Trump University school of Medicine.

Am I going stir crazy?

I’m concerned I may have contracted the virus earlier this month.  Potentially I had thrombosis in my left calf. I had pain at a level 6 out of a scale 10 and used 3 Tylenol/day.  The pain was similar to a DVT but not as severe (DVT a 8-9 pain) lasting about 5-6 days.  I could not get the leg in a comfortable position this is similar to the  3 DVT’s I have had.  The pain experience was not as deep and only on the outside of the calf and not deep so I thought nothing of it.  The pain corresponded with edema in the left foot only and the swelling persists to this date.

The that same time frame, I had a difficult time eliminating the bronchial obstructions, at what I originally thought was as a result of fireplace smoke during the rains and my asthma and bronchitis.   

I found out about coronavirus toes and it struck me.  The bronchial distress and light headedness, edema, and pain at the time were all dismissed.

Am I paranoid or what?  If I had the virus fortunately I have no symptoms currently.  I see the Dr. today. Hooray!
