TRUMP AND THE CONSTITUTION

This country was established, based on the rule of law, written by brilliant men and represents the composition of the best of thinkers at that time and based on previous experience with tyrants.  Colin Powell, former General and Secretary of State recently said that Impeached president Trump had “drifted” from the Constitution.

In an editorial in the L.A. Times  June 9, 2020 Irving Weinestein of Ventura Cal. wrote about the way Trump has re-written or “drifted” from that document. His rewrite of the preamble to the Constitution and it goes like this.

“I (impeached) Donald J. Trump, in order to form a less perfect country, divide the union, disregard justice, disturb the domestic tranquility, provide for my enrichment, promote the welfare of me and my family, abuse the blessings of liberty and free speech, do hereby set myself above the law, and allow myself to say and do anything to secure a second term, by whatever means possible.”

I may take on the task of helping rewrite the Article II to reflect Trump’s interpretation of that part of the constitution as well.

MY DIAGNOSIS

In my opinion impeached Donald Trump, as a result of his actions, may have one or all of the following;

Note: I am not a medical professional although I play one below.

1. First potential is arrested development: his actions are of a petulant pre-teen, he uses a 4^th grade vocabulary, his lack of sentence structure, not being able to read, and having to be briefed with pictures, having the need to bully, get even, and dominate daily. His fear of images making him look bad.  Acting up, and fleeing responsibility. He hides and builds a wall around those he does not want to see.  I think this diagnosis is one potential answer for his irrational actions. 
2. My second diagnosis was Alzheimer’s disease: slurring his speech, not understanding what those around him are saying, and with the odd ability to take the advice from the last person that spoke to him on the subject.  Repetition of the subject using the same sentences numerous times in the same speech.  His lashing out at individuals for only a perceived slight. Decreased or poor judgement.  Problems with words speaking or writing.  Challenges in planning or solving problems. Changes in mood and personality.  Memory loss.  Continued degradation of his faculties.
3. Tertiary stage syphilis, is my last diagnosis this one is only a remote potential diagnosis. If he has it, it has impacted a large part of his brain?  This could this explain his continued abnormal departure from anything resembling acceptable behavior. This could also explain some or all the above symptoms?  A strain of syphilis that has gone undetected by medical professionals for years?  Or has Impeached Donald Trump paid off all his spin doctors, to give him a tainted but clean bill of health?
