Countdown 52 Day Election

California 22 days until early voting

TRUMP – THE WOODWARD BOOK

The Woodward book also describes Trump’s attack on senior generals when he was talking to  trade representative Peter Navarro in 2017 he described them  as weak and overly focused on allies and called them suckers for shouldering high costs to protect South Korea.  Trump added:  “They care more about their alliances than they do about trade deals.”  He said of South Korea “We are defending you, we are allowing you to exist.”

General James Mattis is told of having a conversation with Dan Coats then  director of national intelligence which he said: “Trump is dangerous and unfit for the office.”  Dan Coats is said to have a suspicion that Russia  had something on Trump.  The two of them were debating and struggled on how to convey the threat Trump had on the country.

General Mattis when confronted with the withdrawal of troops fighting ISIS general Mattis resigned and said this: “When I was basically directed to do something that I thought went beyond stupid to felony stupid, strategically jeopardizing our place in the world and everything else, that’s when I quit.”

This comes when Trump is accused of calling war fighters “stupid” and “losers”, and calling the staff at the pentagon as “war profiteers.”  Trump is proven to be his own worst enemy.  Disparaging the troops and the generals is not a good look for Trump.  The revelations in the Atlantic article and now confirmed by many sources and now the Woodward book taking over the news cycle much to the dismay of Trump.

Trump, in his own way, disclosed to Woodward highly classified national security program details of a new low yield nuclear weapon system which is unconscionable. This information was given to a journalist on the record knowing that the news would leak out.  This can only lead to another arms race where billions of dollars are waisted.  Does Trump not know that revealed secrets have consequences?

Trump told Woodward:  “I have built a nuclear-a weapon system that nobody’s ever had in this country before.  We have stuff that you haven’t even seen or heard about.  We have stuff that Putin and Xi have never heard about before.  There’s nobody-what we have is incredible.”  This information flies in the face of the fact that a program using nuclear technology was most likely started prior to his taking office.  No large program has ever been developed tested and deployed in 3 ½ years.  And I mean no program ever.  This had to be an on-going program he took over from Obama administration.  Woodward confirmed the information on the new system with another source, and that source was shocked that anyone had said anything about the system and did not give any further details.

The book goes into details on how Trump was wooded by Little Kim and how Kim took him for a ride by legitimizing his dictatorship.  Kim described in detail how he murdered his uncle and how Trump was flattered by Kim calling him his excellency and being infatuated with love at first sight.  Kim, one of the worlds most dangerous tyrants wrote in one letter to Trump  “their relationship was like a fantasy film”   Woodward also wrote about their meeting at the DMZ when they shook hands Kim when they stepped into North Korea writing about ”that moment of history when I  firmly held your excellency’s hand at the beautiful and sacred location as the whole world watched with great interest.” “He added he hoped to relive that day”

Trump describing their chemistry to Woodward said of Kim “You meet a woman.  In one second, you know whether or not it’s going to happen.  It doesn’t take you 10 minutes and it doesn’t take six weeks.  Its like, Whoa.  Ok, you know  It takes somewhat less than a second.”

Trump and Kim shared 27 love letters stroking each other.  Excuse me as my mouth just filled with barf.  I guess the adage birds of a feather, after all they both responsible for the killing of thousands of their own people.

Donald Trump has lost public trust, lacks valor, and shows no public virtue that all the previous presidents had maintained.  Having no trust, and his lack of virtues make him a loser in my mind.  Trump deserves no respect as he gives none.

The problem becomes this, how do you see yourself following a leader that does not tell you the truth?  This the consequences become even more dire when you consider “when Trump lies people die.” And he has no remorse, empathy, or feeling for the loss and suffering he caused.

In order to take the attention away from the last week of horrific news Trump needing the subject change said he would immediately squelch any protesters after he claims victory on the night of the election.  This BS is only to raise the ire and take the attention from his problems with the military, the Woodward book, the peaceful protesters, and the Covid-19  pandemic.
